With regard to contingent liabilities, I think it's safe to say that McDonalds will be able to consider this lawsuit to be frivolous and won't need to even disclose in their financial statement footnotes. On a personal note, if you can't regulate how often your child eats fast food or watches television which subjects them to marketing that promotes toys, perhaps you need some coaching in the parenting sector. I think the only winners here are the attorneys.
