Click here if video fails to load. One of the great themes of managerial accounting is that we improve the financial picture by generating more revenues, decreasing expenses, or some of both. Not only has this Philadelphia distract attorney contributed to correcting justice, he is saving the taxpayers money by appealing for the release of innocent prisoners. While so far only 4% of reviewed cases have resulted in a release, this project is still generating positive returns in terms of social justice and financial responsibility to taxpayers.

Disney is among a number of companies who have used their savings related to corporate tax cuts to focus on stock buybacks and other measures to improve profitability. They did use some savings to pay a one-time only bonus to employees last year; again, something other big name companies did.
